The Farm-to-Kitchen Connection offers members a whole season of fresh, certified organic produce. All of our produce is grown in glacial loam soils which have been fertilized with composted manure and other natural amendments, without the use of synthetic pesticides. Our varieties are selected for quality and flavor. We believe that diets high in vegetables can result in a variety of healthful benefits!

Get Back to Your Roots

Your weekly farm visits provide the opportunity to experience and taste the changes in the growing season. Unwind at the end of the day as you bag up your vegetables, chat with fellow members, pick fresh flowers and herbs, and marvel at the glorious harvest. Enjoy the fields, gardens, and sunsets over the Adirondacks!

Farm-to-Kitchen Connection Veggies
Lettuces, spinach, beet greens, sugar snaps, zucchini, summer squash, basil, beans, beets, carrots, cucumbers, greens, herbs, broccoli, corn, leeks, melons, onions, peppers, potatoes, tomatoes, cabbage, cauliflower, garlic, winter squash, pumpkins... and more!

You won’t find fresher food than this unless you grow it yourself! Fresh means great flavor, less waste, and better nutritive value. Keeping food dollars close to home optimizes their value, and strengthens the link between producers and consumers. Your support for farms is a cost-effective way to actively influence and maintain Addison County’s agricultural communities and working landscape.


Because you pay up front, you save more than by purchasing piecemeal over the summer. In addition, you may pick your own flowers, herbs and selected vegetables when available. We suggest that you share your vegetables with friends or neighbors if vacation plans interfere with your weekly pick up!

From Arugula to Zucchini, members receive a diverse assortment of vegetables and herbs throughout the season, picked at their peak for flavor and freshness.

The Farm

We have been tending our organic market gardens since 1981. We moved to Shoreham and established Golden Russet Farm in November, 1984. The farm has been certified organic by Vermont Organic Farmers since 1987. For more than 30 years, our mission has been to provide quality organic produce to people at reasonable cost.

Be a Good Neighbor

Help other families join the FTKC community and eat good vegetables too! A tax-deductible contribution to the Northeast Organic Farming Association of Vermont's Vermont Farm Share Program will help. This program subsidizes Share prices for income-eligible households, by matching farm-raised funds dollar-for-dollar. Since the Share program began several years ago, we have had more than a dozen eligible households take advantage of this opportunity, thanks to your generous donations.
