Organic Plants, Produce, Seeds, Seed Potatoes & Fertilizer

Golden Russet Farm is a working farm, and some of what we produce, we sell here at the farm. We also offer a few other items that we bring in, such as Johnny’s Selected Seeds, North Country Organics fertilizer, organic seed potatoes, and various other gardening-related items.

Open Daily throughout the Spring

From late April through early July, we will be open for the season every day from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm.  During that time, the greenhouses are bursting with color and choices, and you will find a tremendous selection of organically-grown flower, vegetable, and herb plants for your home garden. We also have field dug asparagus crowns, rhubarb and other perennials. Folks often make several trips to the farm during the bedding plant season, since the needs, suitability, and availability of plants change as the weather warms.

Plant Sales are the Main Focus plus Seasonal Veggies

Although plant sales are the main focus of our spring farm stand operation, we also have a few field-grown vegetables for sale (weather permitting!), including: spinach, beet greens, lettuce, and rhubarb. If spring food is what you’re after, it is best to call us at 802-897-7031 first!

Open by Chance or Appointment after June 30

After June 30, we are open by chance or by appointment during the week, and closed on weekends. During the summer and fall there is generally someone around who can help you with your purchases. It is probably best to call ahead to make sure your trip here will be worthwhile!
